EMBROIDERY Embroidery is the application of thread stitched on to replicate your artwork or logo onto your garment. It is commonly used on Polos, Jackets, Shirts, Hats and Caps. Thread washes well, can be ironed and retains its colour very well after many washes. Waterproof jackets may be embroidered with application of a waterproof layer behind, or we can use a digital transfer instead. |

SCREEN PRINTING
Screen printing is a great process for printed t-shirts, polo shirts, bags and similar. Screen-printed products wash well and can maintain the print quality for some time. This process should not be confused with heat transfer printing (or thermal prints). Transfer prints do not last as well and are not as good in terms of print quality, though they have improved dramatically. When screen printing, one colour at a time is applied and therefore the cost will increase with each additional colour applied. For each separate colour an additional screen is required, so a design with 4 colours in it will need 4 screens (5 if the shirt is a dark colour), which can make screen printing in many colours uneconomical if only a small run of clothing is required. At the other end of the number scale the cost of 4 screens spread over a large number of garments doesn't add a lot extra to the cost per shirt. T-shirt printing is an art form and not all t-shirt printers or promotional clothing printers take the same care over the quality of the printing as we do |

DIGITAL TRANSFER We recommend transfer for expensive and hi-tech sport garments, Lycra, breathable fabrics, sports bags, umbrellas and other items especially if the print is detailed and many colours. The transfer will stretch and flex with the garment, doesn’t interfere with waterproofing or comfort. Our transfers are produced using the latest printing technologies with heat transfer onto the garment. Our methods produce professionally looking garments. |
